Marston Green is located in Solihull in the West Midlands. It is bordered on its western edge by Birmingham International Airport and its northern edge by Birmingham. It is still referred to as a village by many people and still has a strong sense of a village community. Marston Green has expanded rapidly over the years and now has a population of over 8,000 residents.

Marston Green is well served by transport connections. Marston Green railway station is situated on the West Coast mainline, with Virgin Intercity trains stopping at Birmingham International station, which is located near to the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Airport. There are frequent local trains which stop at all local stations between Birmingham New Street and Coventry. The M6 and M42 motorway networks are also within easy reach, with the M6 junction located 2 miles away.
