Bickenhill Parish Council All Parish Council meetings are open to the public and we are here to listen to the community. The monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm. There is half and hour scheduled at all meetings, from 7.30 and 8.00, to allow villagers to raise their concerns and comments. The Parish Council is the part of local government responsible for improving facilities and services for the village and to do this we need to know how best we can help. All councillors are volunteers; some are voted to the position and others are ‘co-opted members’, which means they have applied to fill vacant seats. Being a parish councillor is a way of contributing to your community and helping make it a better place to live. Could you make a difference to the life of the Marston Green or Bickenhill? If you would like to know more about the role and current vacancies, then please contact the Parish Clerk on 779 4040 and she will be pleased to give you the relevant information. One of the responsibilities of the council is the provision of allotments and if you are interested in leasing one of the few available plots please contact the Clerk.
